Lady Wants To Know Why Her Ice Cream Doesn't Melt In The Sun

A Cincinnati mom was concerned when her kid left an ice cream sandwich out for hours in the sun and it didn't melt.

The ice cream sandwich in question is the Walmart 'Great Value' brand. The mother, Christie Watson told WCPO-TV said that:

"I noticed that my son had left his ice cream outside, and I was wondering why is there still ice cream in there"

According to Ms. Watson, she left the ice cream sandwich outside overnight and into the next day. When she went to clean it up, it had not melted. She then said:

"I thought that's quite weird, so I looked at the box, and it doesn't say artificial ice cream. It says ice cream!"

So, she tried a little experiment and put another Great-Value ice cream sandwich outside overnight to see if it would do it again, and once again it did not melt!

So she wants to know, just like the rest of us, what is in that ice cream sandwich that makes it not melt?
