Icona Pop has made their way into our brains with the infectious hook of 'I Love It,' and now they are prepped to repeat their catchy success. The duo has confirmed their second single will be 'Girlfriend,' a song that is almost guaranteed to have females uniting in 'Girl Power' on dance floors all summer long.

The Swedish duo saw massive success with 'I Love It,' released as part of their international EP 'Iconic,' and included on their self-titled debut 'Icona Pop' released to the Swedish market. It was also the theme song for the popular MTV show 'Snooki & JWOWW.'

The new track is set to hit iTunes in June, and samples two well-known hooks 'Me and My Girlfriend' (1996) by Makaveli aka Tupac Shakur, which was later sampled on "03 Bonnie & Clyde" (2002) by Jay Z and Beyonce.

If the success of those tracks are any indicator, it looks like Icona Pop is set up for a pretty sweet summer.
