Instagram Update Features Three New Filters And Emoji Hashtags
A new update to Instagram revealed three new filters and the option to hashtag emojis.
Instagram recently gave us five new filters at the end of 2014, and the excitement was so overwhelming they have blessed IG users with three new filters to step your selfie game up. Instagram also says it plans on continuing to drop new filters with future updates of the popular photo sharing app.
The Lark, Reyes, and Juno filters are here just in time for the outdoor activities that take place as the warm seasons of spring and summer await.
Inspired by weekend adventures outdoors, Lark, Reyes and Juno are a family of modern, subtle filters that brighten and enhance your photos in refined, beautiful ways.
Perhaps the most exciting part of the update is a new feature that will allow you to use emojis in your hashtags.
Instagram noted that the emoji characters have become a big part of the way we communicate, so they will now allow them to be searchable by adding them to your own photos and videos, searching for them with the Explore feature, and by tapping on them when you see them in captions.
