Everyone loves a dude with a man bun, but is this trendy new hair style to blame for premature baldness?

Cosmopolitan.com reports that doctors are warning dudes rocking the man bun to rethink the popular do, because it might be leading to early hair loss. Mississippi dermatologist, Sabra Sullivan, says the man bun creates a condition called traction alopecia, which causes gradual hair loss due to the pulling force applied to the hair by the man bun.

Noooo! Please tell me this isn't true! If this is the end of the man bun I don't know what I'll do. Seriously, there's nothing better than a good man bun, and now they will be gone for ever.

Wait, does this mean I can get traction alopecia from wearing my hair back too? Ugh, now I will be scared forever to wear my hair in a cute up-do or even in a messy bun. This is the worst news never. Excuse me while I go cry and burn all of my hair ties.
