Another Lafayette Business has announced it will be closing its doors for good.

In a heartfelt message shared on Facebook, Jammin Java, a beloved local coffee shop located at 3366 Verot School Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508, has announced its closure, marking the end of an era and the beginning of a new chapter for the Lafayette community.

The social media post expressed the coffee shop's deep appreciation for its loyal customers, stating, "Thank you, everyone, that supported Jammin Java! While the Facebook post did not provide specific details about the new venture that will take over the location, it has generated curiosity and excitement among Lafayette residents. The promise of "great things" has left the community looking forward to the transformation of the beloved coffee shop space.

In the recent weeks we have been faced with several closures, Books A Million, Hooters, and World of Beer just to name a few. However, we remain optimistic that with the new businesses opening in town such as Chimes and soon Superior Grill, those who have been put out of work can start a new chapter at one of these new businesses in town.

We look forward to seeing what is next for the space where Jammin Java was once located and are curious about what you think would be successful in its place. Let us know your ideas in the comments.
