John Legend's 'All of Me' got off to a slow start when it was released as a single in August 2013. It slowly became one of Legend's biggest successes, landing him his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. That's more than enough to land him some recognition outside of his genre.

Legend got just that at the 2014 CMT Awards. The singer teamed up with country stars Jennifer Nettles and Hunter Hayes for an acoustic rendition of 'All of Me.' The crowd started cheering as soon as Legend sang the opening lines.

Nettles joined in to transform the performance into a duet as Hayes did the guitar work.
