16-year-old BMX rider Justin Gautreau landed a sick tailwhip down the legendary El Toro stairs—but it's what happened before the trick that has him going viral.

El Toro High School in Lake Forest, CA is known for a set of stairs on one side of the school called the El Toro 20The stair set is wildly popular in the skateboarding world, as well as the BMX world, where a Baton Rouge rider known as "Juice" made some serious noise recently.

Gautreau has been gaining popularity through his performance at competitions—most notably his tailwhip tricks. He wanted to bring his signature tailwhip to El Toro—a place where the trick has never been done before.

Justin made his way from BR all the way to the west coast, determined to tailwhip El Toro, but he wouldn't do it without facing some serious obstacles. As a matter of fact, Justin almost didn't even have the chance to attempt the trick at all.
