Kanye West was in a very good mood when confronted by the paparazzi last week at the airport. When the shutterbugs asked him about his travel plans, the rapper-producer revealed that he was headed to China to work on his new sneaker with adidas.

In the TMZ video, the G.O.O.D. Music leader was at LAX for an international flight and was being asked a slew of questions about Kim Kardashian's Internet-breaking cover shot for Paper magazine. 'Ye even chuckled a little bit when a paparazzo asked him if he's ever going to get oiled up for a cover shoot. As if.

One cameraman was able to ask him about his impending trip abroad, to which he said, "I’m going to China to work on the Yeezys."

TMZ got a little confused and thought that the 'Bound 2' rapper was talking about a sequel to the 'Yeezus' album.

This bit of news follows our previous report that West's Yeezy 3 sneaker will hit retailers by November. As it stands now, sneakerheads will have to wait just a little bit longer.

Although adidas' world headquarters are in Germany, West clearly stated that he was traveling to China. This could possibly mean that he's checking up on the manufacturing of his highly-anticipated shoe.
