Kanye West Sparks Controversy Over ‘Parkinson’s’ Lyric Choice

Kanye West‘s new album, ‘Yeezus,’ has received rave reviews, but one organization is putting the rapper on blast for what they call an “ignorant” and “distasteful” lyrical choice.

In the song ‘On Sight,’ off his new opus, Kanye raps: ”A monster about to come alive again / Soon as I pull up and park the Benz / We get this bitch shaking like Parkinson’s.”

TMZ reports that the American Parkinson Disease Association was outraged by the reference. The organization’s vice president, Kathryn Whitford, was not afraid to call the G.O.O.D. Music leader out on his actions.

“We find these lyrics distasteful and the product of obvious ignorance,” she said.

West has yet to issue a response.

Do you think the Chi-town emcee should issue an apology? Tell us in the comments below.
