The 2012 BET Awards are set for July 1 and with them, the news that Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Music Family is set to perform.

Since Yeezy leads all nominees, racking up a total of seven nominations, and has the ‘Cruel Summer’ label comp dropping and in need of promotion, it is expected (although not confirmed) that Kim Kardashian‘s boyfriend will be there to take the stage to perform and likely pick up his trophies.

G.O.O.D.’s Big Sean proclaimed (via MTV), “It’s perfect. My grandma gonna be watchin’, my mom, my family, the whole city.” His grandma, mom and family will likely be proud, since he has a few nominations himself. It would be shocking if Ye didn’t take the stage with his boys in his crew, so we’re going to assume that he will grab a mic and rock that joint.

MTV speculates that Big Sean and Yeezy will corral Pusha T and 2 Chainz, the latter of which is an associate of G.O.O.D., to perform ‘Mercy.’ There’s even the suggestion that other G.O.O.D. artists, like Kid Cudi, Common or Q-Tip, will make appearances or hop on stage for the perf.

“G.O.O.D. Music is the best team out there,” G.O.O.D’s CyHi told MTV News earlier this month. “Lyrically, bar-for-bar, song-for-song, concept-for-concept, we are the world, we can take it to a cipher, we can take it on the record. It don’t matter ’cause we the best.”

Look out YMCMB. The G.O.O.D. Music Family is looking to be the No. 1 hip-hop crew. Go here for a list of the performers.
