A couple weeks back Kanye West went in on Jimmy Kimmel with a series of tweets ripping the late night host for spoofing one of his recent interviews by having it reenacted by kids. Last night, Yeezy appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live for the first face-to-face encounter between the two since their Twitter battle took place.

It was an interview that got quite awkward at times, and tense at others, but ultimately led to the two making nice and walking away with no hard feelings. Both Kimmel and West were adamant that unlike Kimmel's twerking hoax; this was NOT a publicity stunt.

Though the interview had it's fair share of uncomfortable moments, there were also lighthearted moments that took a bit of the edge off, but still managed to stay loaded with honesty and sincerity. Kanye admitted that they "kind of just took it back to high school," referencing some of the less mature exchanges that took place. When asked by Kimmel if he was tweeting on the toilet during their Twitter battle, he replied

That’s when I think of the best s***

Kimmel and Kanye ultimately reconciled, but not before Kanye gave us one more passionate rant, touching on everything from classism, to the fact that there is actually a movement to keep his baby-mama Kim Kardashian from ever having a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

There was also a very funny, yet REAL viewpoint on his attitude toward, and  run-ins with the paparazzi, a slew of soon-to-be monumental Yeezy quotes, and a surprise gift from Kimmel to Baby North.

The entire interview lasted long enough (24 minutes to be exact) to bump the Arctic Monkeys off the air.
