Apologies to Birdman and Wayne, but these days it's G.O.O.D. Music and not Cash Money Records that's looking like an army, better yet a navy. Kanye West's quest for international dominance this year isn't relegated strictly to buzz-worthy live performances and enthralling interviews. He's also interested in expanding his label roster to include Chicago MC Holt.

The rapper, who also goes by Hollywood Holt, let off a celebratory tweet announcing the signing to the house that Yeezy built. "I'm excited to announce this morning that I just signed to #GOODmusic and my music is FINALLY coming out!!" He also hints at the fact that his first product under G.O.O.D. Music may not feature him rapping at all, which should leave his fans in suspense and intrigued by what's to come.

A few of Holt's peers and label mates also sent out congratulatory tweets, including Pusha T, Macklemore and others.

Holt's signing may seem like a case of overnight success to many, but he has been making waves in the local Chicago scene for years, releasing a bevy of freestyles and piquing the interest of big names such as Mr. West and others due to his loud, eclectic style as well as his vicious bars and  undeniable presence.

Influenced by traditional rap to punk rock and everything in between, Hollywood Holt's alliance with one of the biggest artists in all of music bodes well for him. Now his work can be showcased on the biggest of stages the world has to offer.
