Chief Keef revealed he would release a Katy Perry diss track due to the pop star's disdain for his intoxicated anthem, 'Hate Bein' Sober,' but he may want to reconsider since she's issued an apology.

Perry wrote the words via Twitter early Friday morning (May 24), explaining that she was unaware the song belonged to the Chicago native.

She then praised his work on the video for his breakout hit 'I Don't Like.' But still voiced her concerns over the content of 'Hate Bein' Sober,' which celebrates being under the influence.

In the end, Perry set the record straight.

The singer's apology comes as a result of Keef lashing out at her via Twitter yesterday, all because the 'Finally Rich' creator didn't care for her opinion of his song. “Dat bitch Katy Perry Can Suck Skin Off Of my D—,” he wrote. “Ill Smack The S— out her.”

If he responds to her amends, it will likely be through the diss track.
