Lil Wayne Released From Hospital

According to multiple sources, Lil Wayne has been released from Cedars Sinai Medical center just moments ago. After spending the majority of six days in the intensive care unit of the hospital, the YMCMB rapper is headed home. Sources say he is weak, and plans on laying low until he makes a full recovery.

It is rumored that the 30-year-old rapper suffered a drug overdose that triggered a series of seizures that kept him in ICU, unable to be stabilized. On Friday evening, there was a huge 'he said, she said' battle via social media between TMZ and Wayne's camp, backed up by the hip hop world.

Earlier today, we told you that Wayne was moved from ICU into a regular room. TMZ and Birdman are providing us with the same information about Weezy being released, so there is definitely no confusion this time around.
