Talk about a terrifying moment. When the presumed deceased 78-year-old Walter Williams was zipped up in a body bag about to be embalmed, he wakes up screaming 'I'm alive, I'm alive!'

The coroner was called to Williams' house in Lexington Mississippi, where his own family members thought he was dead.

The coroner stated that Williams had no pulse and was pronounced dead on Wednesday.

Boy, was he wrong!

Early Thursday morning some workers at the Porter and Sons Funeral Home were preparing for Williams final days on Earth when they heard a sound coming from the body bag.

It was Williams waking up. He then started kicking and screaming... 'I'm alive, I'm alive!'

He was immediately taken out and sent straight to the hospital, at which point his family members were notified of the 're-awakening' of Williams.

Upon further review, the doctor said his pacemaker stopped working, then started up again.

Williams says he is happy to be alive.
