December 8th, 1984:

Born Onika Maraj in Trinidad and raised in Jamaica, Queens.

1998-2002:

During high school years, Nicki Minaj discovered her talent at LaGuardia High School in Manhattan.

April 2007:

Minaj released her first mixtape, Playtime Is Over.

April 2008:

As more buzz surrounded her, Minaj released her second mixtape, Sucka Free.

April 2009:

Minaj released her third mixtape, Beam Me Up, Scotty, which would become the most popular of all her installments. After seeing her appear in a rap DVD, Lil Wayne brought her into his Young Money camp.

December 16th, 2009:

She received a lot of credit for her verses on Young Money’s “Bedrock” which would later peak at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop charts.

January 23rd, 2010:

“I Get Crazy” featuring Lil Wayne peaked at number 37 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop chart.

January 28th, 2010:

The fem-cee was featured on Mariah Carey’s “Up Out Of My Face Remix” single, which peaked at number 97 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 39 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop charts.

March 18th, 2010:

Young Money’s “Roger That” with Lil Wayne peaked at number 56 on Billboard Hot 100 and number 15 on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop charts.

April 15th, 2010:

It was rumored that Minaj was being co-managed by Diddy, who also co-manages Rick Ross.

May 1st, 2010:

Ludacris’ “My Chick Bad” featuring Minaj peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number two on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop charts.

May 8th, 2010:

May 27th, 2010:

Sean Kingston’s “Letting Go (Dutty Love)” featuring Minaj peaked at number 38 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

August 7th, 2010:

August 24th, 2010:

September 22nd, 2010:
