Arnold Abbott is 90-years-old, and he was arrested for doing a GOOD DEED! He was feeding homeless people!!!

Abbott has been giving food to those less fortunate since 1991. But a new law in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, restricts sharing food among members of the public. When police officers arrested him on Sunday, he was handing out meals to the homeless people in the park. He now faces a $500 fine and up to two months in jail.

When the officers showed up they made him stop serving and shouted, "Put down that plate and stop feeding the homeless at once!" (Like he had a gun on him! WTH!!)  Onlookers were in shock and started screaming back at the police officers, shouting, "Shame on you!"

Officers then put the elderly man into the squad car and drove him to the police station.

Abbott plans to sue the city of Fort Lauderdale, and says he will continue his good deeds!

What are your thoughts on this? Did the cops do the right thing, or should they let the 90-year-old man be? Comment below.
