We are just hours away from the kickoff to the 2012 UL Ragin Cajun football season. The Cajuns are coming off of their most successful football season in school history. Let’s re-live the kick heard around “Cajun Nation” as the Cajuns won the 2012 R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on December 17, 2011 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Brett Baer of the Ragin Cajuns kicked the winning field goal to defeat the San Diego State Aztecs 32-30 during the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on December 17, 2011. This kick single handily put the Ragin Cajuns on the map when it comes to elite football programs around the country. Afters so many disappointing years in the program’s history, Baer’s winning kick in 2011 has garnered the respect from others that UL has hoped to get for years!!!
December 17th, 2011 is a day no Ragin Cajun fan will soon forget.
