Brett Baer of the Ragin Cajuns kicked the winning field goal to defeat the San Diego State Aztecs 32-30 during the R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Superdome on December 17, 2011. This kick single handily put the Ragin Cajuns on the map when it comes to elite football programs around the country. Afters so many disappointing years in the program's history, Baer's winning kick in 2011 has garnered the respect from others that UL has hoped to get for years!!!

December 17th, 2011 is a day no Ragin Cajun fan will soon forget.
