Runaway Dog Eludes Police, Owner At Lafayette Mardi Gras Parade [VIDEO]

Clearly, this adorable dog only wanted to enjoy Mardi Gras just like the rest of us.

In a video posted to our Facebook page, JoAnna Anderson shared a clip of a dog running around in the street, juking police and someone who looks like they may have been the dog's owner.

It's hard not to laugh at the quick little pup as he fakes out a cop and runs wild between the barricades. No word on if he got any beads but this dog should definitely get a spot in the Krewe Des Chiens parade next Mardi Gras!

The pup was eventually corralled and a good Mardi Gras time was had by all.
