Saints Owner Tom Benson Buys The Hornets

Let me start by saying Tom Benson can buy the Hornets, but he cant give Drew Brees the money he deserves!! I know, the salary cap comes into play and it's the NFL not the NBA...but I just had to say it! A source close to the deal tells the Associated Press, the purchase price was $338 Million. The sale of the team has been approved by the NBA and commissioner David Stern has this to say, "The city is one of the country's treasures and we really have found the perfect owner." "Our goal all along has been to get the Hornets bought by somebody whose commitment to New Orleans would be unrivaled." This purchase could be some positive light in the wake of the New Orleans Bounty Scandal, and is a great pick up for the City of New Orleans! With this great news, do you think Brees' signing is next? I sure hope so!
