Is There A Samurai Ghost Behind The Little Girl In This Photo?
A photo of a little girl on the beach in Japan has many speculating that there is a Samurai ghost in the background.
If you look closely, it appears that there is a pair of boots and part of a blue shirt behind the four-year-old little girl in the photo. A friend of the girl's father uploaded the photo to Reddit, and many came up with the Samurai story being that the beach that the photo was taken on was across a samurai graveyard.
Martin Springall says he took several photos of his daughter that day back on July 6, 2014—but when he went through all the photos later that night, only one of the several photos of her in the same spot had the boots in them.
After freaking out, he showed his friend, Brian Publicover, who put it on Reddit's "Ghosts" subreddit. In addition to the Samurai theory, some believed it could have been the ghost of a World War II sailor.
Springall says the photo is "completely legitimate" and not edited in any way.
