In response to recent media coverage regarding the upcoming fundraiser for Emmalyn Grace Quebedeaux, the beloved 3-year-old daughter of former employee Dillon Quebedeaux, Service Chevrolet Cadillac wishes to offer a necessary clarification and extend heartfelt gratitude to George Villien, owner of Cajun Market Meats.

The fundraiser, which aims to support little Emmalyn Grace in her battle against Stage 4 cancer, has garnered immense support from the community, and we are deeply moved by the overwhelming response. However, we want to clarify that the entire fundraising event has been meticulously organized and spearheaded by George Villien, the compassionate owner of Cajun Market Meats.

Service Chevrolet Cadillac is humbled and honored to be part of this meaningful cause and will act as one of the six locations where supporters can purchase tickets for the $15 BBQ brisket plate lunches. The other locations include Rachel’s Cafe, Lafayette WinAir, Courtesy Johnston, Courtesy Broussard, and Hebert’s Maurice. These delicious meals, generously consisting of BBQ brisket, rice dressing, baked beans, potato salad, bread, and water, have been made possible through the kind donation of 350 lbs of brisket by Hebert's Specialty Meats.

The ticket sales will continue until August 3rd, and the plate lunches will be available for pick-up on August 6th, from 10:30 AM to 1 PM, at Rachel’s Cafe.

George Villien's dedication and philanthropic spirit have been the driving force behind this event, and we commend him for his unwavering support of the Quebedeaux family during this challenging time.
