Local Shreveport Radio DJ Jumps Into Freezing Cold Pool On A Snow Day

A local Shreveport radio DJ was a man of his word after he made good on a Facebook promise and jumped into a freezing cold pool on a rare snow day.

K945's Jay Whatley posted a photo of the snowy pool at his Reflections of Island Park apartment complex and said if the photo got 300 likes in two hours he would jump in.

The stakes were raised even higher when Whatley said he would jump in wearing a speedo if the photo got up 1000 likes. The photo quickly reached the amount of likes and the DJ kept his end of the bargain. The ice cream and the hat was just a bonus.
