Suspect in Slim Dunkin Murder Case Surrenders to Police

Rap artist Young Vito, the suspect in the shooting death of up-and-coming Brick Squad associate Slim Dunkin, surrendered to authorities in Atlanta on Monday (Dec. 26). Vito (real name Vincent Hardimon) arrived at police headquarters, clean-shaven and wearing a beanie hat, at 3PM EST and was charged with murder.
As we previously reported, Vito is being accused of fatally shooting Dunkin in the chest during an argument over a piece of candy. Although police have their man in custody, they are still asking for witnesses to come forward to provide more information on what happened that night. “We did get some cooperation from witnesses but we’re still urging the public, whoever was at 1074 Memorial Drive on Dec. 16, to give us a call,” said Detective David Quinn.
A funeral for Dunkin was held on Dec. 23 at the Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain, Ga. After the funeral, Waka Flocka Flame and other family members gave a Slim Dunkin a final send off with a hail of white balloons.
