It's been a rumor fo some time, but now it's official: Seth Meyers will replace Jimmy Fallon as the host of NBC's 'Late Night' next year.
Conan O'Brien may have had a few brief moments (okay, a year) as 'Tonight Show' host before the role was taken back from him by the so-called retired Jay Leno, but that didn't stop him from being happy for fellow late-nighter Jimmy Fallon, who was announced as Leno's replacement yesterday (April 3).
This of course was not the case on 'Chelsea Lately,' where he and Chelsea Handler get in a naked shower fight over the fact that she's in his old studio. So much for letting fake bygones be fake bygones.
"Justin Timberlake Week" on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' was pretty eventful, what with the coy shade JT threw at Kanye West, the barbershop quintet version of 'SexyBack' and all those mannequin arms flying about.
And on Friday, March 15, they closed out the whole thing in style by doing yet another installment in their epic 'History of Rap' series.
'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' is known for its strange recurring sketches, including one called “Real People, Fake Arms” in which actors replace their arms with mannequin arms. (Trust us, it's much funnier than it sounds.)
The premise for the latest version of the gag was this: Steve Carell and Jimmy Fallon once appeared on a Canadian soap opera together called 'Jacob's Patience,' but Carell refused to use his delicate arms in any of the scenes, which forced everyone on the show to use fake arms. Oh, and Justin Timberlake was involved, too.
Continuing “Justin Timberlake Week” on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,' Fallon and JT topped even the discussion of his feud with Kanye West by performing a barbershop quintet version of Timberlake's hit 'SexyBack.'

After his fifth hosting stint on 'Saturday Night Live' on March 9, Justin Timberlake continued his television domination by kicking off “Justin Timberlake Week” on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,' where he'll be the special guest and musical guest all week.
And for his first trick, he addressed his so-called-feud with Kanye West.
If you've been on the internet for maybe eight minutes, you've no doubt seen the 'Evolution of Dance,' a pretty brilliant routine from a dude named Judson Laipply that went viral years ago and has since racked up 210 million YouTube views. (Go watch it. We'll wait.)
On Friday night, Feb. 22, First Lady Michelle Obama and Jimmy Fallon gave it their own twist by doing the 'Evolution of Mom Dancing.' And it was truly a sight to behold.
Justin Timberlake has some pretty damn good PR people.
After announcing his new album 'The 20/20 Experience,' it seems like you can't go anywhere without being slapped in the face with an appearance by JT. Grammys, pre-Super Bowl concert, Brit Awards, we could go on and on. We're surprised he hasn't shown up in our shower yet.
Continuing the Timberlake saturation, it's been announced that he will host and perform on 'Saturday Night Live' on March 9, and will perform for a full week (March 11-15) on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.'
We admit we tool on Robert Pattinson pretty hard around here sometimes, but it's less about him and more about his taste in women and the annoying movie franchise that is 'Twilight.'
But in his Nov. 8 appearance on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,' he was kind of adorable -- even to us -- when he gamely climbed into a big wooden tub and had a water fight with Fallon.
On Monday night, both David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon did their nightly talk shows in front of very silent studio audiences.
They weren’t silent out of reverence for the destruction that was raging around them thanks to Hurricane Sandy -- they were silent because they simply weren’t there.
