Teacher Of The Month For ‘May 2011′ [VIDEO]

As the 2010-2011 school year comes to an end, we delievered our last "Teacher Of The Month" honor to Ms. Kritsen Dupey at Lafayette Middle. Chris Reed surprised the entire class, and Ms. Dupey, as he walked into the classroom unannounced. Ms. Dupey was nominated by one of her students, Christina Smith, and Chris Logan chose to reward Ms. Dupey because of the wonderful letter Christina wrote. Christina said in the letter to Hot 107-9 that her teacher was worthy of the honor because of the effort she puts into not only her classroom instructions, but also because of her devotion to the cheerleading squad. Ms. Dupey is the cheerleader coach and sponsor at Lafayette Middle, and is only in her first year of teaching. Ms Dupey was awarded with a gift certificate to Aveda, and Christina was given CDs and coupons to McDonalds for her efforts in nominating her teacher. As for the whole class, they enjoyed a Pizza Party courtesy of our friends at Papa Johns.

From all of us at Hot 107-9 we'd like to congratulate all of the teachers we met this school year for our "Teacher Of The Month" honor. We'd also like to wish all of the hard working teachers, support personnel, and administrators a happy and safe summer break!!!!
