U.S. Gymnast Nastia Liukin Takes A Hard Fall At 2012 Olympic Trials [VIDEO]
Now that the 2012 Olympics are underway, let’s all hope that we don’t see this happen again. During the 2012 Olympic Trials, U.S. gymnast Nastia Liukin took a hard fall while competing on the uneven bars. Unfortunately for Liukin, she did not make the U.S. Olympic team, but she is in London for the games. The former gymnast, and U.S. Champion, is serving as an athlete representative for the Federation of International Gymnasts (FIG), acting as a liaison between the competing gymnasts and the organization. After the Olympics in London, Liukin is teaming up with Fisher-Price to launch their new interactive Fantastic Gymnastics Dora doll.
Oh by the way, what was her coach watching as she came off of the uneven bars here? I thought the coach was stationed there to help break a fall in the event of….
