What's Surviving Paradise?

"Surviving Paradise" takes a unique twist on the familiar reality TV survival genre. As the host, Jessimae Peluso, describes, the show is all about "getting to the top" but with a catch; participants must "start with nothing." The cast, a group of young, attractive individuals, is introduced to a luxurious villa, but they quickly learn that their first night will be far from paradise.

I never in a million years thought we would be living in the woods. I thought there would be games in between, but never thought we wouldn’t be sleeping in the villa.

In a twist that the audience is privy to before the contestants, they won't be enjoying the comforts of the villa but will instead be "staying deep in that forest," as host Jessimae Peluso explains.

The show combines elements of popular reality series like "Survivor," "Love Island," and "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here."
