What's better than a song about love? A song about food, obviously.

Ok, fine, I know none of these songs are actually about food. Honestly, I'm not even sure what half of these songs are about, but I do know they make me hungry.

I mean, if you're going to write a song with the words bacon, cake, or broccoli in it, it doesn't matter what the song is about; it's still going to make me hungry.

    "Cake By The Ocean"

    DNCE

Every time I hear this song, I want a huge slice of funfetti cake. Why funfetti? I have no idea, but how amazing does funfetti cake sound right now? With extra sprinkles and a glass of milk. Yes, please.

    "Peanut Butter Jelly Time"

    Buckwheat Boyz

You know what? I don't even like jelly, but as soon as the Buckwheat Boyz say "It's peanut butter jelly time!" I'm like "Yes. Yes, it is," and can't help but want to scarf down a pb & j sammy.

    "Bacon"

    Nick Jonas

Ugh, bacon! Seriously, if you don't want to eat bacon by the fistful after listening to this song, there might be something wrong with you. Nick Jonas uttering the words "throw some bacon on it" might be the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.

    "Banana Pancakes"

    Jack Johnson

Again, I don't even like banana pancakes, but as soon as Jack Johnson sings about them, I wish I was staring at a heaping pile of them doused in butter and syrup. And, let's be real, if a dude makes you banana pancakes, you eat them. He's a keeper.

    "Milkshake"

    Kelis

Kelis says her milkshake brings all the boys to the yard, but I'm pretty sure any milkshake would bring me anywhere. Milkshakes are flipping delicious. I'm not kidding when I say I think about milkshakes at least once a day, which pretty much means I sing "Milkshake" to myself at least once a day.

    "Broccoli"

    D.R.A.M.

Finally, a song that makes me want to eat some veggies...kinda. I was cooking broccoli for dinner last night and had to have this song playing in the background. Is that excessive? Yes, but if someone is going to make a song with broccoli, there's no way I'm not playing it every time I eat, see, or cook broccoli.

    "Lady Marmalade"

Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya, Pink

I'm going with the Moulin Rouge edition, because as soon as I start thinking about Patti Labelle, I think about sweet potato pies and I just can't even. Marmalade is like jelly's cooler older sister, and all I want to do when I hear Xtina hit those high notes is slather it on a piece of toast and go to town. Marmalade, you complete me.

    "Chicken Noodle Soup"

    Webstar, Young B

There's nothing better than eating a hot bowl of chicken noodle soup on a winter - or any - day if I hear this song. Just a little advice: I know the song makes you want to dance around, but do not dance while eating hot soup. It will end badly.
