UPDATE – Curfews Implemented By Acadiana Parishes For Wednesday Night

Update: With temperatures expected to get below freezing again on Wednesday night, the following parishes have decided to implement curfews once again, according to our news partners at KATC.

Evangeline Parish

• 6 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday

St. Landry Parish (exception: Eunice, Opelousas and Washington)

• 8 p.m. Wednesday until 6 a.m. Thursday

With the accumulation of ice and snow in portions of Acadiana, some authorities have issued curfews to preserve the safety of residents.

Acadia Parish

• Dusk until dawn curfew from Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Crowley

• 6 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

• 10 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

• Parishwide curfew from 6 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
