
Curfews Are Being Enforced In Parts Of Acadiana As Hurricane Isaac Approaches
As Hurricane Isaac approaches the gulf coast of Louisiana, some local government officials are setting curfews in their communities. We have a list of cities already enforcing curfews, and we will continue to update the list as we get information throughout the night.So far, here are the curfews being enforced throughout Acadiana:
In Lafayette Parish There is a 6P Wednesday (8/29) to 6A Thursday (8/30)
In West Baton Rouge there is a dusk til dawn curfew Wednesday (8/29/) Thursday (8/30)
In Abbeville: The Tuesday curfew is 10:00 P. M. and the Wednesday curfew is 8:00 P. M.
In Gueydan: There is a 10:00 P. M. Tuesday night until 6:00 A. M. Wednesday morning.
In Eunice: Dusk till dawn curfew for Wednesday into Thursday morning
In Delcambre: The curfew is from 10pm Tuesday-6am Wednesday, and 10pm Wednesday-6am Thursday.
In Erath: The curfew enforced will be Tuesday night beginning at 10:00 P. M. and until 6:00 A. M. Wednesday.
In Maurice: There will be a curfew tonight. It starts at 8 p.m. tonight and goes to 6 a.m. Thursday.
In Franklin Between 6P-6A (8/29-8/30)
In Gueydan Between 10P-6A (8/29-8/30)
In Iberia Parish: The Sheriff's Office will be enforcing a curfew for Iberia Parish Wednesday night from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
In St. Martin Parish: St. Martin Parish will be under a curfew from 8:00 P. M. Wed. night until 6:00 A. M. Thursday.
In Acadia Parish Between 8P-6A (8/29-8/30)
In Church Point Between 7P-6A (8/29-8/30)
In Ville Platte Between Dusk and Dawn
In Opelousas Between 8P-6A (8/29-8/30)
In Port Barre Between 8P-6A (8/29-8/30)
Estherwood and Iota Curfews from 8:00 pm tonight until 6:00 am
