A professional football team is doing this?

The Arizona Cardinals have announced that they will give their players "cell phone breaks" during team meetings.

Reason being, Coach Kliff Kingsbury says that this new cellphone policy will allow players to focus more on meetings and not worry about their phones.

ESPN reports that Kingsbury will let the players break for their phones every 20 or 30 minutes. He says that they are itching to get "on those things" so they are going to let them, in hopes that the distraction is eliminated from meetings.

Yes, this is the world we live in these days. A PROFESSIONAL team is giving its players a cellphone break to eliminate the gadget as a distraction.

I do not anticipate Nick Saban or Bill Belichick implementing such a policy in their respective program or organization.
