Be Part Of Our Holiday Care Drive For “Faith House”

Join Hot 107-9 and Service Chevrolet this holiday season as we team-up for the first ever "Holiday Care Drive For Faith House." The drive starts on Dec. 7th and will wrap up on Dec. 14th at Service Chevrolet on Cameron St. We are asking that you help us provide the necessities for kids while they are residents of Faith House in Lafayette.Faith House is a safe haven for women and kids that are in abusive relationships. This non-profit organization is a 45-bed facility and opens its doors to women and their minor children when they have no where else to turn to during a domestic violence situation.

While residing there, this facility provides shelter, food, medication, support, counseling, legal advice, and a children's program to it's residents. Faith House does receive  funding from various government agencies, still resident's length of stays is hard to predict, thus things really begin to "add up" quickly.

With that said, we along with our friends over at Service Chevrolet would like to ensure that the kids at Faith House are taken care of this holiday season. So, we are asking that you please take some time out of your busy schedule and help us provide for the kids at Faith House. We are hoping to fill-up the red Chevrolet Camaro located inside the show room at Service Chevrolet, 4313 Cameron St., with the necessities they need at Faith House. On Dec. 14th, Hot 107-9 will deliver the goods we collect to Faith House here in Lafayette. The list of necessities are listed below, and all that we ask is that you bring these new/un-used necessities to Service Chevrolet during their normal business hours. On Dec. 14th, Chris Reed will do the entire Morning Show from Service Chevrolet as we wrap-up this great Holiday Care Drive.

The items we are in need of are as follows:

1. Socks

2. Undewear

3. Undershirts

4. Gloves

5. Winter Hats

6. Diapers

7. Baby Wipes

8. Pajamas
