Bridesmaids Carry Puppies Instead of Flowers

A Florida bride wanted to make a statement at her wedding on Monday in Plant City and boy did she ever.

Instead of traditional bouquets for the wedding party, Andee Ondina swapped those out for adoptable, 5-week old puppies. Each pooch wore floral collars to make for a festive celebration.

The unique "bouquets" were used to encourage others to consider animal adoption.

"I don't think anyone's job should ever have to entail which of these adorable babies live and which ones have to move on, and who knows what their fate will be," she told WFTS-TV. "So I wanted to do my part."

She nicknamed the 10 dogs in the ceremony "puppquets". How cute is that?
