Florida's popular Slingshot Ride had a bit of an issue this week. One of the bungee cords snapped right before two people were strapped in to be hurled into the air for an adrenaline rush and it was caught on video. Luckily, no one was hurt.

I've done some death-defying things over the years like rode rollercoasters, flew in airplanes, snorkeled in the Carribean Sea off the coast of Belize, and in the Pacific Ocean of the coast of Maui, Hawaii. I've ziplined over Fremont Street in Las Vegas. I also owned a motorcycle, which some people look at as treading the lines of life and death. It's not that serious folks, but I digress.

What I'm not about to do is get on anyone's amusement park ride, ever again. Too many things have been going wrong with those rides as of late. You've got to draw the line somewhere, and riding in a half metal cage attached to two giant rubber bands that fling you into the sky aren't on my agenda. Nope, not happening.
