Detroit Mother Turns Son In After Robbery [VIDEO]

Give her the title "Mother of The Year" now. A Detroit woman turned her 12-year-old son into police after she saw him rob an elderly person.

The mother of the young boy says that she turned her son into police after she saw a video of him and two others rob an elderly man in a restaurant.

She says that she had to do the right thing and that she wanted to teach her son a lesson. Well, he's learning the hard way that you can't rob people and expect to get away with it.

This mother should be an example to many. As hard as it must have been to turn her own son into authorities, she did the right thing. And if this saves this young man's life down the road, he'll thank her one day.
