Louisiana Woman Begs for Help After Family Dog is Stolen From Home
A Louisiana woman is desperately searching for her dog that was stolen from her home. They are offering a $1,000 reward for his safe return.
Candance Nicole has been trying to find her beloved Bailey since October 31st, “I know there are people who lose dogs every day, but my story is a little different."
“This past year has been especially hard for me,” she continued. “I lost my two-month-old baby last year to SIDS, and then this year, I lost Bailey, my dog. I’ve had him for eight years, and he’s been my rock. He’s the smartest, sweetest dog you could imagine, and after I lost my baby, he became my emotional support. He’s full of energy, loves his toys, and he’s got this adorable habit of sticking his head in my purse or shopping bags, knowing there’s something in there for him. We miss him so much.”
Bailey went missing on October 31 in Pineville, Louisiana on Third Street. According to Nicole, someone broke into their home, taking tools, a laptop, and Bailey. “I think whoever broke in was probably walking down Third Street, so they couldn’t carry too much. I believe Bailey was either sold to someone or traded for drugs.
Nicole explains that here’s a lot of people down there struggling with addiction and her fear is Bailey being harmed.
She added, “I don’t know if I’ll ever see Bailey again, but I believe he’s out there somewhere, alive. I just hope whoever has him is treating him well and giving him the love he deserves. I pray he’s not being harmed. I know there are so many people down on Third Street who saw something, and I’m begging anyone who knows anything to come forward. We’re offering a $1,000 reward to bring Bailey back to his family.”
Please contact 318-290-4535 or 318-290-7631 with any information. The family also asks that if you do catch sight of him, to snap a photo or call his name.
We hope that by helping Candance get the word out, we can get Bailey back home where he belongs.
