FLASHBACK: Gov Blanco Addresses UL Lafayette Graduates In 2017

Former Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco is in hospice care according to State Legislators who asked for prayers. Blanco was first diagnosed with ocular cancer several years ago, but she announced it had returned back in 2017. We've started looking back at some of the defining moments of her career as a public servant.

One moment that stands out is her speech before the December 2017 UL Lafayette commencement ceremony at the Cajundome. She reflected on all parts of her life, both personal and political.
