Former Louisiana Governor Edwin W. Edwards Hospitalized

According to our friends at KATC TV3, former Louisiana Governor Edwin W. Edwards has been hospitalized.

A family spokesperson told the media that the former governor was experiencing breathing issues.

Edwards reportedly has tested negative for the coronavirus and will be kept in a Baton Rouge-area hospital overnight for observation.

Former Governor Edwards is 93.
