(Scott, Louisiana) - A local business owner had some fun in his store after he hopped on a horse and took a stroll on it through his store.

Craig Spadoni, owner of Bead Busters in Scott on Cameron Street, posted a video on his social media page that shows him slowly riding through a portion of his store on a horse.

Mardi Gras in South Louisiana is often associated with horseback riders, but this may be the first time we see a horse in a store that specializes in Mardi Gras throws and apparel

Is this the first time we've seen a horse in a building in the Acadaiana? Well, it's not.

Spadoni tells me the horse belongs to a friend and that he was very careful as he navigated only a few feet through his business. Unlike in bars or other establishments in the Lafayette area, the floors here were dry, and there were very few people in the building at the time.

The horse was not injured during the video shoot and exited the building safely on Cameron St. while its owner stood nearby.

Craig says that when you visit the "Bead King" at Bead Busters in Scott, you never know who or what you may see there, and I can attest to that.

Here's the local business owner getting into the Mardi Gras spirit while riding a horse slowly through a portion of his business. No, a chicken was not tossed during this video shoot, but we still have a few days before Mardi Gras.
