Lafayette Close to Getting a New Super 1 Foods Location on Ambassador Caffery

(Lafayette, Louisiana) - Lafayette is an ever-growing city. As our community continues to grow, we will need new places to accommodate the civilians of our community. Food, water, and shelter are basic needs that we all need, and the food part of that is what we will focus on. A new grocery store is coming to the Ambassador Caffery and Dulles St. area, as Super 1 Foods is coming to Ambassador Caffery.

The new Super 1 Foods is under construction. And according to Developing Lafayette who had this story first stated that this new location will create about 200 new jobs for the community of Lafayette.

The new location is the 51st location for the company. Super 1 will be taking over the old Shopper's Value building located in the Marketplace Plaza shopping center on Ambassador Caffery and Dulles. The exact location is 2240 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Now we don't have a clear-cut timeframe for when the construction will be finished and when you will be able to access the Super 1 Foods, but I would like to guess it will be no more than 7-8 months. Especially when you consider that the old location used to be a supermarket as well. But I do understand that they need to give the location the Super 1 aesthetic inside and out. So hopefully it's completed sooner rather than later so the people of Lafayette in that area can start to shop at the location.
