LCG Chief Communications Officer Jamie Angelle has issued a press release on behalf of  Mayor-President Josh Guillory to address a mandatory curfew in Lafayette Parish for Saturday, October 10. You can read the details below from the official statement.

"After consulting with the Mayors, Chiefs of Police, and Chiefs of Fire in Lafayette Parish, and in consideration of numerous power outages and extensive debris across the parish, Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory implementing a parish-wide curfew beginning at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020 and ending at 6:00 a.m. Sunday, October 11, 2020. Only emergency, recovery, and essential personnel will be allowed to travel during the curfew. The curfew may be extended if the situation warrants."
