Parents and guardians can have peace of mind knowing that this event offers a secure environment for their children to enjoy the Halloween tradition. As emphasized by the Lafayette Police Department, Girard Park will be "the safest place to trick or treat" this year.

The department encourages families from all over Lafayette and the surrounding Acadiana area to come out in their best costumes, engage with their local police officers, and partake in the Halloween celebration.

Mark your calendars and prepare for an evening of fun, candy, and community spirit! We hope to see you there.
