Louisiana Travelers Can Now Book a ‘Guaranteed Empty Middle Seat’ on Frontier Flights
There are few experiences more anxiety-inducing and uncomfortable than finding yourself sandwiched between two strangers on a long flight, even if you are just flying from New Orleans to Houston, it's still not a position anyone would ever choose to be in.
Not to be dramatic but it is the nightmare scenario that every traveler hopes to avoid when booking their seats. As someone who cherishes the freedom of an aisle or being able to rest by head against the window, the idea of being stuck in the middle seat is not something I really want to deal with, if I have a choice.
Well, thanks to frontier airlines it sounds like they are making an attempt to alleviate this stress from their customes.

Are you tired of the dreaded middle seat squeeze? Do you long for extra legroom and the freedom to stretch out during your flights? Frontier Airlines has answered you prayers with their new upgrade option, UpFront Plus.
The Frontier Airlines CEO Barry Biffle shared details about reserving the first two rows for flyers who select UpFront Plus upon booking their flight.
We understand that many consumers strongly prefer a seating option that offers extra space when flying, Frontier is all about choice and giving consumers the flexibility to customize their travel to suit their individual needs and preferences. UpFront Plus is a great option for those who want expanded personal space and extra comfort.
What's the Catch?
The downside is that UpFront Plus upgrades are available for a limited time only. Starting at just $49 you can select this option starting on or after April 10. These exclusive upgrades will only be available through April 30, 2024.
Our hope is that if enough people book this upgrade consistently it might stick around permanently, at least during the busy travel seasons. Who knows, maybe other airlines with try this upgrade option on their flights in the future.
