Mariah Carey Shares a Clip of ‘Triumphant (Get ‘Em)’ Video
Mariah Carey and a fur coat-wearing Rick Ross cheer on Meek Mill, who takes the ring as a boxer in a preview of Carey’s latest video, ‘Triumphant (Get ‘Em).’
The 30-second clip begins with Mill seated on a chair in between rounds in the corner of a boxing ring. The featured rapper gets up to begin the fight as Carey and Ross cheer on from ringside. Ross might have made for a more imposing figure in the ring, but he’s comfortable as a spectator here while Mill does his thing.
In other scenes, the new ‘American Idol’ judge shimmers in a gold dress as she sings the inspirational lyrics, “Can’t fall down, stay triumphant, keep on living / Stay on your toes, get off the ropes / Don’t let ‘em ever count you out / Realize all things are possible / In your heart who’s the greatest / Reach for the stars, be all that you are / And make ‘em all fall down.”
Will Mill slay the competition or find himself knocked out? We’re pretty sure we know the answer, but we’ll stay tuned for the full version of the video, coming soon. ‘Triumphant’ is the lead single from Carey’s 14th studio album, which is targeted for a March 2013 release.
