Mayor Nic Hunter Sends Final Message To SWLA Ahead Of Hurricane Delta

Mayor of Lake Charles, Nic Hunter, shared his final thoughts with his residents and the people of Southwest Louisiana as Hurricane Delta makes landfall in his city.

After going through the devastation of Hurricane Laura, Lake Charles is feeling the impact of a hurricane once again.

Mayor Hunter is taking the time to thank all of the City employees that have done their part in preparing Lake Charles for Hurricane Delta.

Many people in Louisiana are really saying they would rather Hurricane Delta hit them instead of Lake Charles. I'd have to agree with those people, personally.

With recovery efforts still in full swing from Hurricane Laura, we can only hope that the already hurting SWLA area makes it through Hurricane Delta alright.
