Nike Unveils Power-Lacing Hyperadapt 1.0
While sneakerheads await the release of the limited self-lacing Nike Mag this spring, the Swoosh is gearing up to give fans another innovative and technologically-advanced sneaker with the launch of the Nike Power-Lacing Hyperadapt 1.0. Set to drop towards the end of the year, the silhouette will be exclusive for Nike+ Members.
Designed by Tinker Hatfield and Tiffany Beers, the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 will feature a power-lacing system that will automatically tie the consumers sneaker once the heel of an individual touches the sensor of the shoe. Nike Senior Innovator, Tiffany Beers, announced in a press release the overall concept of the shoe, “When you step in, your heel will hit a sensor and the system will automatically tighten.” With other prototypes like the 2016 Nike Air Mag featuring the self-lacing system, and the Hyperadapt 1.0 set to include the innovative feature, expect more footwear brands to follow the footsteps of the Swoosh and Puma.
The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 will be available to exclusively to Nike+ members in the Holiday season of 2016. The technically-advanced shakers will release in three colorways - black, grey and white. As far as the pricing goes, Nike has yet to unveil the price tag of the shoes, but keep it locked with XXL and Nike to get all the last minute updates surrounding the release of this futuristic Nike HyperAdapt 1.0.
