Paris Hilton Announces Official DJ Tour

I can barely type right now because I'm hysterical with laughter right now. I wish this was a joke, but it is definitely real. After tagging along with her boyfriend Afrojack to his gigs at numerous clubs and festivals from Vegas to Ibiza over the last few months, Paris Hilton has announced her very own official DJ Tour. Hilton says "she is excited to DJ for the first time being that she has been part of the club drug music scene since she was 15."

While most DJs (including myself) start off in their bedroom playing for the wall, Paris will make her DJ debut at the Pop Music Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil playing for a 30,000-capacity crowd.

"I cannot wait to DJ for the first time in front of thousands of people," Hilton told Billboard exclusively. "It's something I have been passionate about and have come to respect very much. I am very excited to share all of my hard work with the world."

Let's not forget when Paris, now 31, tried her hand at dance music before with her not-so-hit single "Stars Are Blind," the lead single off her 2006 album that you probably never heard of. Sources say her DJ set will consist of Afrojack remixes "custom made remixes of the best tracks" and "will be the first of many gigs to come."

I guess Paris really thinks that banging a DJ and hanging out in the booth is all she needs to do to have the talent magically "rub off" on her. Stars may be blind, but we aren't deaf, and I have a feeling this is gonna be hilarious no matter how it turns out.
