R. Kelly’s Death A Hoax

2012 has been a year of the Death Hoax....Remember Justin Bieber, Ryan Gosling, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and Jon Bon Jovi just to name a few. Now, for the latest hoax.....R. Kelly. Reports of R. Kelly's death surfaced online early this morning. It wasn't long before R. Kelly himself, killed the rumor by tweeting a photo of himself, and said "Glad I don't even know how to Jet ski." Various websites were reporting that R. Kelly died in a jet ski accident in the Turks and Caicos Islands. We need to remember that when we hear about the death of a celebrity in Turks and Caicos, it's probably false! Same hoax was used for Chris Brown, Brad Pitt, Ja Rule and J. Cole. The reports are generated by fake websites that allow users to plug a name into a pre written story, then the story is picked up by news and gossip sites.....then we're all reading fake news stories!
