Lil Boosie Found Not Guilty In Murder Trial

Rapper Lil Boosie - real name Torence Hatch - has been found not guilty in the case of the murder of Terry Boyd. WAFB reported that the jury deliberated for about an hour and a half before reaching a final verdict of not guilty late this afternoon. Their decision came after six days of hearing witness testimony and arguments from both the prosecution and the defense.

Torence "Lil Boosie" Hatch was indicted back in June 2010 for the charge of first-degree murder of Boyd and has dealt with legal troubles leading up to the jury's final verdict earlier today. Last year he pleaded guilty to drug charges after being caught trying to smuggle narcotics into prison on three separate occasions. He was sentenced to eight years for those crimes and is currently residing in Angola State Penitentiary.
